Nine counties encompass the South Central Kansas GWEDC region.  The primary thrust for the working organization is to market the region, South Central Kansas to the world.  In 2008 representatives for the county partners will meet to discuss GWEDC's marketing initiatives including, publications, international trade show representation and strategies.  The partners also meet on a bi-monthly basis incorporating representatiaves from the region's municipalities, utilities and other resource groups to network and learn about area resources.
